Vernon - The Highland Stage Summer Youth Theatre will present five performances of the Broadway musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie, from Aug. 4 to Aug. 12, in the air-conditioned auditorium of Vernon High School on route 565 in Vernon. The Highland Stage youth project has grown in size and impact over the company’s 10 seasons, attracting young talent from throughout the county and the region, and moving from children’s musicals to “Broadway junior” shows, to its recent productions of full-length, Broadway musicals. The project’s shift to the full Broadway format coincided with the move to the facilities of Vernon High.
