Historical society's wine and cheese party celebrates spring

    Warwick — The Warwick Historical Society’s annual wine and cheese party will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 4. The “Centennial Celebration Wine Tasting and Cheese Sampling Party” will offer a variety of international wines and cheeses under the apple trees at Lewis Park in Warwick. Michael Jackson, jazz guitarist, will set the mood of the evening with his music. The party not only celebrates spring in Warwick, but the area’s unique historical heritage. Tickets, at $25, can be purchased in advance at the Baird’s Tavern on Main Street or by calling 986-3236, or at the door the evening of the event.
