Sparta The Sussex County Interfaith Hospitality Network, a shelter program for homeless families, will host its 7th Annual Dinner Auction at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, at Perona Farms Restaurant in Andover. Rhea and Linda Fountain, known for their humanitarian work throughout the county, will serve as honorary chairpersons. Rhea currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors for The Center for Prevention and Counseling and Linda is a Trustee and Board/Secretary/Treasurer of Sussex County Community College. Currently, the Network is seeking corporate sponsors for this event. Five levels of sponsorship support are available, ranging from $250 to $2500. All sponsors will have their names prominently displayed at the benefit and will be included in all subsequent media releases. The deadline for sponsorship is Feb. 16. The Dinner Auction will begin with a cash bar cocktail hour, followed by a delicious buffet dinner featuring the renowned specialties of Chef Kirk Avondoglio of Perona Farms. Guests will have an opportunity to bid on both silent and live auction items including vacation getaways, handcrafted items, event tickets, artwork and dine-around packages. Tickets for the event are $45 per person and tables of 10 or 12 may be reserved. Last year’s auction was attended by 230 guests and a raised a total of $35,000 for the non-profit organization. Proceeds from this year’s event will also provide support services and shelter to local homeless families.
