The place to be on Thursday, March 8, is West Milford High School as the Music Department hosts it inaugural West Milford Jazz Festival. The festival will feature the Macopin Middle School Jazz Band, directed by Erica McPartland, the West Milford High School Chambersingers, directed by Doug Heyburn, the West Milford High School Jazz Ensemble, directed by Matt Gramata, and other high school jazz ensembles from New Jersey. The music begins at 5:30 p.m. and tickets are $5 at the door. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Go out and support the arts in West Milford and enjoy some cool jazz in the process.
