Middletown, N.Y. - An evening of Latin jazz, featuring the Oscar Hernandez Quartet, will be presented starting at 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, at Orange Hall Theater on the campus of Orange County Community College in Middletown, N.Y. Hernandez, a Grammy-Award winner, pianist, arranger and composer, was the musical director, conductor and arranger for Paul Simon’s Broadway musical, “The Capeman.” He is also the composer of the theme song for “Sex in the City.” His quintet includes Willie Martinez, drums; George Delgado, Latin percussion; Ray Martinez, bass; and Mitch Frohman, saxaphone.
