HEWITT — Jack Burger and Paula Madawick, two Hewitt residents, have written a hilarious romantic comedy, Costumes Optional, which will be performed next week in Ringwood and West Milford
Set in 1998 thru 2000, Costumes Optional tells the romantic tales of four professional women and one man looking for true love.
Catherine Sinclair’s Annual “Sadie Hawkins” Pumpkin Party is the catalyst for the four women to snag their men. Without murder or mayhem and with true wit, the writers have written a script to delight and entertain.
Costumes Optional's actors include Karen Phelan of Hewitt in the role of Trixie, a real estate agent from Biloxi, Miss., Suzanne Morris of Ringwood playing Catherine Sinclair, a fabulous fine artist who pines for Charlie, played by Mark Herrmann of Mahwah. Kim Harnett of Ringwood plays Melissa De Cicco and Deana Salle, also of Ringwood, plays Sharon Freel. The cast is directed by Jill McDonald and produced by The Iron Mountain Stage Company based in Ringwood.
