WEST MILFORD Karen Savoca is headlining at Music at the Mission this Saturday night. Opening for Savoca are two local musicians, J & Kay.
J & Kay was created by Jason Roe and Kristina Zaloum in 2011 as an organization dedicated to making a difference in peoples lives. They both have had a deep passion for music their entire lives, both play guitar, piano, ukulele, and sing. They have been teaching music for many years and both grew up in church playing music. J graduated from Nyack College as a music major in 2010. Kay graduated from Thomas Edison State College in 2007. Kay and J met each other on stage singing at a church meeting in 2010 and soon after began their relationship. Now they are engaged and getting married Sept. 8, 2012.
Come Saturday night to watch and listen to the wonderful music they make together.
The show begins at 8 p.m. Music at the Mission is located at the West Milford Presbyterian Church, 1452 Union Valley Road.
