RINGWOOD — Catch one of West Milford's favorite musicians, Loretta Hagen at the New Jersey Botanical Garden Summer Concert on Friday, July 13.

Hagen is known for her rich alto voice and heart-tugging songs. Weaving folk, country, rock and blues, she writes songs that possess strong, catchy melodies and passionate, poignant lyrics. She has an uncanny ability to make an audience feel right at home, leaving them smiling, laughing, crying, and singing along, as she reflects about love, loss, courage, hope and perseverance.

Hagen recently released her third CD, Mud and Stone, featuring uplifting heartfelt ballads, playful up-tempo country swing and cool bluesy grooves.

Sponsored by TD Bank, the concert begins at 7 p.m. on the Concert Lawn. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. No pets or alcohol are permitted on the property. It will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather. A $5 donation is requested.

The New Jersey Botanical Garden is located at 2 Morris Road, Ringwood. For information, call 973-962-9534.
