WEST MILFORD — It's been on Broadway and made its way to London's West End. Now, "Into the Woods" will make its debut at Maple Road School as the 6th grade Drama Club presents "Into the Woods Jr." on Wednesday and Thursday nights, May 30 and 31.

The musical, which is based on the book by James Lapine with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, takes characters from Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel and Cinderella and ties them together with an original story about a baker and his wife trying to have a family.

This version of the show is directed by Tricia Kane, Diana Bivona and Kristi Masone.

The proceeds from the show benefit the school's parent-teacher organization.

The show is at Maple Road School, 7 p.m. each night. Tickets are on sale at the door for $7. For more information, contact Anita at abatavia@loonkar.com.
