Mix of entertainment offered at Newton Theatre

The Newton Theatre has a full schedule for the rest of June with an eclectic mix of entertainment.

Blues Brothers Revue — Friday, June 14, 8 p.m.; $59, $49 and $39.

The Official Blues Brothers Revue recreates the live concert experience, integrating the humor and songs from the original film and subsequent albums. Produced by Judy Belushi Pisano and Dan Aykroyd, the Revue pays homage to Chicago's history of blues, soul music and gospel of the original Blues Brothers.

Keller Williams with the Travelin’ McCourys — Saturday, June 15, 8 p.m.; $49, $39 and $29.

The Travelin’ McCourys and Keller Williams come together to bring some blues. For Keller Williams with The Travelin' McCourys, fans will see Keller playing his music with live bands on the touring circuit.

The Wallflowers — Sunday, June 16, 7:30 p.m.; $69, $59 and $49.

After a seven-year break, The Wallflowers are back. The Wallflowers have released six studio albums, one compilation album and have had various songs on television and movie soundtracks. They have won two Grammy awards for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal and Best Rock Song for their song One Headlight in 1998. The current line-up includes Jakob Dylan, Rami Jaffee, Greg Richling, Stuart Mathis, Jack Irons.

The Calamari Sisters — June 21, 22, 23, 28, 29 and 30 Fridays and Saturdays 8 p.m. and Sundays 3 p.m.; $29.

A Musical Cooking Lesson with the Calamari Sisters is a unique show that offers hilarity, failed dishes, and food fights during this live “cooking lesson” hosted by two larger-than-life Italian sisters, Delphine and Carmela Calamari. The sisters sing and dance while preparing traditional Italian dishes. As old rivalries resurface the ladies will be slinging insults along with the salami.
