Warwick, N.Y. The Warwick Valley Winery and Distillery will present the female trio Red Molly, on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 8 p.m. The trio, consisting of Laurie MacAllister, Abbie Gardner and Carolann Solebello, weave their voices in perfect harmony. Their style of music is carefully-selected original and cover material, ranging from Appalachian ballads to 20th-century pop/country standards and contemporary folk. Red Molly creates their distinctive rootsy, Americana sound by using a variety of stringed instruments including the guitar, dobro, mandolin and banjo. Individually, the three women have plenty of talent; together, they create musical magic. They have been charming audiences in the tri-state area and beyond, since forming in 2004. This marks the fourth time Red Molly has graced the winery stage. They have preformed twice at the winery’s outdoor folk festival and one sold-out solo performance last January. Tickets are $15 in advance $18 at the door. Doors will open at 6:30 and the show begins at 8. Pane, the new restaurant at Warwick Valley Winery and Distillery, will be serving an expanded dinner menu. Reservation are recommended, as there is limited seating. Call the winery at 845-258-4858.
