Augusta - Newton Memorial Hospital Foundation’s “An Evening of Wine and Roses” will take place from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.on Thurday, March 16 amid the garden landscapes of “Springfest” at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta. The wine and gourmet cuisine tasting will benefit the Charles L. Tice Heart Center for Diagnostic Services at the hospital. The “Champagne grand event” sponsors of the evening are Ronetco Supermarkets, Inc., which owns and operates six ShopRite supermarkets in the area, and Selective Insurance Group. Mark Avondoglio of Perona Farms, as well as Ronetco, is providing support and resources for many of the evening’s efforts. Conversational tables and seating will be included to enhance the sampling of food from 32 world-class restaurants and tastings of liquors, cordials and wines from area distributors and vineyards.
