Newton Hospital Foundation to host March 16 ‘Evening of Wine and Roses'

    Augusta - Newton Memorial Hospital Foundation’s “An Evening of Wine and Roses” will take place from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.on Thurday, March 16 amid the garden landscapes of “Springfest” at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta. The wine and gourmet cuisine tasting will benefit the Charles L. Tice Heart Center for Diagnostic Services at the hospital. The “Champagne grand event” sponsors of the evening are Ronetco Supermarkets, Inc., which owns and operates six ShopRite supermarkets in the area, and Selective Insurance Group. Mark Avondoglio of Perona Farms, as well as Ronetco, is providing support and resources for many of the evening’s efforts. Conversational tables and seating will be included to enhance the sampling of food from 32 world-class restaurants and tastings of liquors, cordials and wines from area distributors and vineyards. Participating area restaurants are Andre’s Restaurant & Wine Boutique, Barone’s Restaurant, Black Forest Inn, Bobolink Dairy, Bula “World Cuisine,” Café Pierrot, Caffe Navona, Carafello’s Restaurant, Casa Bellisima, Cheez-Kake Bake Shop, The Chocolate Goat Gift Shoppe, Clohessey’s Bakery, Deli & Confections, Ellias Creative American Cuisine, Hampton House, Krave Cafe & Caterers, Lake Mohawk Country Club, Lake Mohawk Golf Club, Lake Mohawk Gourmet Foods, Laurel Villa Country Inn, Mohawk House, Mountain Brook Inn, Nastasi Imports, Newton Country Club, Newton Memorial Hospital Food Services, Perona Farms, Pine Hill Farms, Plaza Bistro, Ristorante Il Porto, The Tea Hive, The Walpack Inn, Wakefern Food Corporation and Zoe’s by the Lake French Restaurant.
