NJBG Harvest Fest set for Oct. 19

Ringwood. The NJBG Harvest Fest from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 19 promises to be a family day full of fun at the New Jersey Botanical Garden in Ringwood.

It will be bushels of fun at the NJBG Harvest Fest from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 19 at the New Jersey Botanical Garden in Ringwood.

This day full of family fun, sponsored by the NJBG, will offer hayrides, pumpkin painting, free children’s games, an autumn plant sale, and a fairway of booths and exhibits. The festival includes a beer garden, all-day music and lots of tasty things to eat.

Visitors may take one of the free tours or wander through the garden, which provides many photo opportunities.

The New Jersey Botanical Garden, with all its glorious fall foliage and plantings, is free. Parking is $5 per car.

Proceeds from Harvest Fest activities benefit NJBG, the nonprofit member support group for the New Jersey State Botanical Garden.
