WEST MILFORD — Have an aspiring singer or actor in the house? The West Milford Community Services and Recreation is still taking applications for a two-week theatre intensive. Students entering grades six through 10 in September will be busy singing, dancing and acting in preparation for an hour-long musical which will be presented on the final day of camp. The show is directed by Doug Heyburn, the choral director at West Milford High School, and choreographed by Maria Calabrese Heyburn, a veteran of six Broadway shows. They have been running this camp for the past 17 years.

Camp runs from July 2 through the 13th, with no session on Wednesday, July 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $210 per student; $10 extra for non-residents. The program will be held in the West Milford High School auditorium.

Call the West Milford Parks and Recreation Department at 973-728-2860 to sign up.
