Andover - A combination ice cream social/rock concert/DVD release party brings Railroad Salvage back to Andover Township on Friday, June 8. The ice cream social starts at 7 p.m. at the Long Pond School. The concert, which highlights the release of the five-piece band’s DVD “Live Tracks,” runs from 9 to 10:30 p.m. Railroad Salvage bills itself as a “cover band with extra attitude.” Started at the University of New Haven, the band recorded the DVD in Andover, home town of its bass player. The school was offered as a venue by the bass player’s father, Superintendent Jerry Clymer.
