    Newton —Craig Yoe, author and artist, ARF Thursday, Sept. 28, 10:50 a.m. Arf is a groundbreaking series of books exploring the unholy marriage of art and comics in a stunning array of rare masterpieces. The most recent book in the series, Modern Arf, encompasses a rich treasure trove of images spanning 1836 to the present. This presentation is for the art lover and comic buff alike. The presentation will take place in the Sussex Bank Theater from 10:50 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28. The presentation is free for students and $3 for the community. SCCC Nursing Program Information Session An information session will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28 for all those interested in learning more about the Nursing program at Sussex County Community College. The session will meet in R-105. Should you have any questions, contact Karen Petriccione at 973-300-2136. “NO EXIT NUMBER” Exhibit Presentation and Kick-off Folk Life and Folklore in New Jersey Series Thursday, Sept. 28, 7 p.m. There is no place like northwest New Jersey. Yet, the very things that make the region unique are also drawing new residents and development to the area, changing it forever. “No Exit Number” captures a time of transition between the old and the new. Elinor Levy Ph.D., executive director and folklorist for the northwest Jersey Folklife Project, Inc., will discuss the creation of the exhibit and folk life and folklore in northwest new Jersey. The exhibit and presentation kick-off will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28 in the Sussex Bank Theater. There is a $3 admission charge. Presented by Sussex County Community College and the Northwest Jersey Folk Life Project. The exhibit will be available for viewing in the SCCC library through Oct. 31. Fall Festival - “Celebrating Community” Saturday, Sept. 30, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Connor Green Autumn is that wonderful time of year when the air is crisp and beautiful colored leaves fall from the trees. It is also a perfect time to get outside and enjoy a fun-filled Saturday with family and friends. Sussex County Community College is holding their 6th Annual Fall Festival on Saturday, September 30. There will be games, relay races, prizes, face painting, crafts, story telling, rides and so much more. An exciting change this year is the addition of an old fashion flea market. In addition to the flea market there will be music, local service agencies, antiques, and a farmers market. Admission and parking are free. Pay just $5.00 for a ride-all-day wristband. For more information, call 973-300-2230. Tickets on sale for Broadway Show, “Tarzan” SCCC is sponsoring a trip to see “Tarzan,” Disney’s newest hit to swing onto Broadway. In the spirit of the Lion King and Beauty and the Beast before it, the newest adventure, “Tarzan,” will captivate you above the jungle floor while Tarzan’s story unfolds to music from Phil Collins and moves under the direction of choreographer Mertyl Tankard and aerial designer Pichon Baldinu. The trip is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 13. The bus to NYC will depart SCCC at 3 p.m. that day. Tickets are $80 students with a valid ID card, $90 SCCC Staff and Faculty and $100 public.
