Sparta - The Sparta Evangelical Free Church presents Bow the Knee, an Easter musical that tells the story of Anthony, a Roman centurion who struggles with the choice of following Jesus Christ or staying true to the crown of Caesar. The story is set in the days leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus. Created by Christian singer/songwriter Chris Machen, Bow the Knee will be performed by the “One Voice” choir and drama ministry of the church and will include a mixture of music and drama. Performances will be at 6 p.m. Saturday March 31 and Sunday April 1. Admission is free and no tickets are needed in advance to attend. Nursery service will be available during the performance.
