Sussex The Tri-State Actors Theater is now accepting registrations for its Spring Acting Classes for youth, teens and adults. Teen classes, for ages 13 through 17, will begin Saturday, April 21, with weekly sessions from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be a total of 10 Saturday sessions, with the final class set for Saturday, June 23. The teen class is taught by Artistic Director and teacher Paul Meacham. The class will learn basic skills of acting, work on monologues and two-character scenes, with individual instruction for every student. Fee for the teen class is $200. Children’s classes, for ages 6 through 12, will be under the instruction of Lea Antolini Lid, a professional actor and children’s acting teacher. Individual attention is given to each student; classes will include creative dramatics, games, and a parents’ participation day for the final class. Spring class begins Monday, April 23, meeting from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Total of six sessions, with the last class set for Monday, June 4. Class fee is $160. The Advanced Acting Workshop, under the direction of Tara Bowles, professional actor and teacher, for adults with or without acting experience begins Monday, April 23, meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Acting classes are developed through the Stella Adler Technique and include scene study. Workshops will be held once a week for ten sessions; final class is July 9. Registration fee is $200. Classes meet at the theater, 74 Main St., Sussex.
