Sparta - Peter Carelli of Stockwell was the winner of a $5,000 audio and video unit following a grand-opening drawing that attracted thousands of entries at Audio Video Concepts, located at 580 Rte. 15 in Sparta. Sparta Mayor Ailish Hambel joined business owner Michael Burns in congratulating the winner of the on-air contest. The drawing took place last month, in time for Carelli to watch the Super Bowl on his new large-screen TV with surround sound. Carelli received a complete home theater that includes a 46-inch high-definition television, a Dolby digital audio-video receiver, a DVD player and a 5.1 surround sound speaker system. Audio Video Concepts sponsored the drawing to celebrate their new showroom of high-definition televisions and audio sound systems. Burns, 39, a lifetime resident of Sparta, has installed multi-room audio and video systems since 1990. He incorporated in 1997. He said adding a showroom will allow his clients to pre-select the media room or home theater concept they desire, as well as whole-house wiring and installation of audio systems that were only described by brochures before this opening. Audio Video Concepts does pre-construction planning for media rooms as well as post-construction wiring of audio and video systems. The new showroom allows clients to experience a full array of speakers and high-definition televisions as they plan before purchasing products. Audio Video Concepts contracted with radio stations WNNJ (102.3) and WSUS (103.7) to promote the drawing. Carelli, brought his son, Peter, with him to the showroom when claiming his prize. The new showroom will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. For information or to make an appointment to privately experience the full showroom of HD-TVs and audio systems,.call 973-579-1040.
