The Concert for the Caring returns to West Milford

| 13 Aug 2012 | 04:49

— Hundreds of caring folks will again gather to show the caring power of the West Milford community on Saturday, Aug. 25, at Bubbling Springs Park. They will come to hear and see the inspiring work of Morgan Paul’s Concert for the Caring and to make a difference in our world.
This year, Paul brings some friends along with him, including vocalist Jeni Bilheimer, violinist Ben Zabel, the backing vocals of Rick Remington, and the theatrical interpretations of Ken Create. They will be performing perennial favorites including "Who Cares," "I Have a Friend," and "Live United," along with several new compositions, "I Have Windows" and "For This I Pray."
The Concert for the Caring is much more than moving music. It raises awareness and support for our neighbors in need throughout the region with their Regional Disaster Relief Fund. This year, they seek to raise funding and food - funds to help local food pantries, and the food to help keep them filled. To that end, please bring a bag of non-perishable food to the show, and they ask for a generous support offering at this otherwise free concert event. Bring the whole family! Lawn chairs and blankets are recommended.
The concert begins at 6 p.m.
