— Bedford Falls is synonymous with Christmas and life's blessings. This November, return to Bedford Falls right here in West Milford as the West Milford Players present "It's a Wonderful Life."

Come enjoy the classic holiday story of George Bailey, the Everyman from the small town whose dreams of adventure have been quashed by family obligation and civic duty, and whose guardian angel has to descend on Christmas Eve to save him.

It is an American classic. The show, by James W. Rodgers, is based on the film by Frank Capra and the story by Philip Van Doren Stern. This local version is directed by Diana Roth.

Show dates and times are Friday and Saturday, Nov. 9, 10, 16 and 17 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 11 and 18, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for students and seniors. The show will be performed at the Hillcrest Community Center, 1810 Macopin Road, West Milford.

And, as is the Players' custom, they give back to the community. Part of ticket revenue is donated to a charity. Part of the proceeds from "It's a Wonderful Life" will be donated to the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide.
