Sussex County - Summer will soon be here and with the warm weather comes the 2006 season of “Thursdays on the Green” at Sussex County Community College. This year’s season kicks off on Thursday, June 8, with a production of “Romeo and Juliet” performed by Shakespeare LIVE!, the acclaimed educational touring wing of The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. The production will be held in the Lakeland Bank Pavilion on the Connor Green beginning at 6:45 p.m. The performance is free and the public is invited to attend. Refreshments will be available for purchase and chairs will be provided for the event. The servants of the Capulets and the Montagues, two feuding households both alike in dignity in fair Verona, are brawling in the streets. Young Romeo Montague is lovesick over a young woman named Rosalind while Juliet Capulet is being considered as a bride for the noble Paris.
