Township offering some fun classes this winter

    — West Milford Community Services and Recreation is offering several workshops and classes this winter at the Hillcrest Community Center.

    Wonderland Workshop
    Participants will be able to choose from a variety of items to paint and decorate. Kids can use them as gifts or keep them for themselves.

    Date: Dec. 18
    Time: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

    Grades: Pre-K (ages 4) through grade 4

    Cost: $25 per person

    Holly Jolly Legos

    This special Lego class is for all Lego enthusiasts.

    Date: Dec. 4
    Time: 4:30 to 6 p.m.

    Grades: K to 5
    Cost: $25 per person


    Women’s Self Defense
    This empowering self-defense class is being taught by a certified Women’s Self Defense Instructor, James Fulton, who will teach participants how to possibly prevent an assault or even save her life. Bring your daughter or a friend.

    Date: Nov. 21
    Time: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

    Ages: 18 years and up (16 years if accompanied by an adult)

    Cost: $39.00 per person ($10.00 additional for out of town applicants)


    These programs are open to all. Non residents must add $10 per class. There is an entire catalog of activities sponsored by the township.
