WEST MILFORD — Ever want to do something different? How about learn a language? West Milford Community Services and Recreation is offering Spanish classes this fall for adults.
Beginner Spanish is designed for those who have no or little experience with Spanish. Participants will learn survival Spanish and be introduced to the basics of Spanish grammar.
Intermediate Spanish is designed for those with a very basic understanding of Spanish. Emphasis will be on conversations regarding topics useful in work and travel.
Both classes will be held at West Milford High School. It is recommended that all participants bring a folder or binder and a Spanish/English dictionary. The beginner class will be on Wednesdays, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. beginning Oct. 23 for eight weeks. The intermediate class will be held on Mondays, also from 7 to 8:30 p.m., beginning Oct. 21 for eight weeks.
The cost for each is $59, $10 additional for non West Milford residents. These classes are for adults, 18 years of age and older.
