Sparta - More than 30 area churches from Sussex County and Orange County, N.Y., have joined with a professional theater company to produce an ecumenical holiday production, Two From Galilee. A full-scale, Broadway-style musical, Two from Galilee is based on the love story of Mary and Joseph and how God encounters people in their lives. The show is a musical adaptation of the best selling book by Marjorie Holmes. The cast consists of over 70 performers, including professional actors and musicians, as well as members of many local churches. Two from Galilee will be presented at 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, and at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, at the McNeice Auditorium in Sparta.
