Ukrainian artist's work exhibited at Tranquility Gallery

Hamburg — Tranquility Gallery and Frameworks of Hamburg is currently displaying the artistry of painter Andrei Protsouk. Born in Ukraine in 1961, Protsouk graduated from the Lugansk School of Fine Art in 1981. He then continued his studies at the Repin Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia where he earned his master’s degree in fine art in 1990. Protsouk has exhibited his work in over 100 solo shows and museum presentations throughout the United States and abroad. Protsouk also maintains business alliances with corporate clients, including Coca-Cola, Johnnie Walker and Imperial Cosmetics. Among other collectors, Protsouk’s art is included in the private collection of President George W. Bush. Protsouk, on average, will create as many as 150 originals in a single year, etching each canvas, linen and frame with defined lines and rich textures, all intended to exploit the bold colors of his palette. He has created over 20 different themed collections and started his own publishing company in 2001, which produces giclees on canvas and paper of his works.
