Stanhope Uncle Floyd will bring his zany sense of humor and antics to a place that is very close to Wild West City on Friday, July 1. For several years Uncle Floyd was the piano player at the Golden Nugget Saloon at Wild West City. Easily recognizable by his out-of-fashion signature plaid suits and straw hat, Uncle Floyd is a true icon. A part of the New York area metro scene since the 1970s, his show the Uncle Floyd Show has appeared on many cable systems over the years, not just in New Jersey but throughout the United States. He can also be heard weekly on Sirius Satellite Radio as a regular on The Wiseguy Show. In addition, Uncle Floyd regularly performs his shows at nightclubs throughout the tri-state area where he enjoys a solid fan base and mixes comedy with rip-roaring tunes on the piano. He has opened for Chubby Checker, Connie Francis, Jerry Vale, Pat Cooper, Melba Moore, Leon Redbone, Jimmy Roselli and other big name stars. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 each and may be purchased at the door. Reservations may also be made in advance by calling 973-993-4898.
