The West Milford Players are presenting "Moonstruck," a show based on the movie and written by John Patrick Shanley. It has been adapted for stage and directed by Petra Seirmarco.

Loretta Castorini, a book keeper from Brooklyn, finds herself in a difficult situation when she falls for the brother of her fiance, who is also the best friend of her late husband who died seven years previously.

This funny yet touching play will tug at your heart strings and make you root for the underdogs.

"We are so pleased to bring this amazing production to life," said Erika Crocco, vice president of the West Milford Players. "This talented cast will make you laugh and cry as you hope and wish for a happy ending for all."

The cast includes Rich Ahrens, Michael Firzalone, Dianna Angelli, Gina Piazza Hodes, Brad Bebout, Freddie Maas, Mary Laido, Scott Manginell, Lorraine Leierzapf, Bill Selino, Vicki Ludwig, Glenn Wenzel and Joe Molloy.

As always, The Players will contribute some of the proceeds to a non profit organization, this time to The Mental Health Association of Passaic County.

"Please join us for this wonderful show," said Crocco, "while helping us support an Association that does so much for others."
