West Milford Players present Secondary Cause of Death

WEST MILFORD — Didn't catch the West Milford Players' production of Secondary Cause of Death last weekend? The good news is you can see it this weekend.

This hilarious comedy by Peter Gordon is the second in a trilogy of Agatha Christie spoofs. The main character is very similar to Peter Sellers' Inspector Clousseau in Pink Panther.

the time is 1939 and storm clouds are gathering over Europe. Colonel Charles Craddock has converted the Bagshot House into a hotel for the discerning visitors. When a murder mystery evening is staged, the bodies begin to pile up. And the laughs do too.

The Players always donate a portion of their proceeds to a worthy cause. This time, they are keeping it very close to home. Part of the sales will go to the West Milford Township First Aid Squad and the Upper Greenwood Lake Volunteer Ambulance Corp.

Show times are Friday and Saturday, Feb. 17 and 18, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 19, at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $15, $13 for senior citizens and students. The shows are performed at Hillcrest Community Center, 1810 Macopin Road, West Milford. For more information, go to www.westmilfordplayers.org or call 973-697-4400.
