Sussex County — Berkeley College recently honored three Sussex County students who were inducted into national honor societies. “Today, education is the key to understanding the diverse needs of people worldwide, and to developing human potential and equality,” said Berkeley College President Dr. Mildred Garci-a. “Those students who have been inducted into these national honor societies have shown that they have the ability to stand tall and become leaders in the global business community of the future.” Sussex County natives Pamela Bernier of Glenwood, Cassie Kowalchuk of Sparta and Ashley Seabeck of Montague were all inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta National Honor Society. The Sigma Beta Delta National Honor Society was founded in 1994 to honor students in business, management or administration who are pursuing baccalaureate or graduate degrees. To qualify, students must rank in the upper 20 percent of their class.
