Dawn DeMattheis (left) of Highland Lakes and Dorothy Korybski of Newton are congratulated by Ed Hughes, Berkeley College dean of student development and campus life, upon their induction into the Phi Theta Kappa and Lambda Epsilon Chi national honor societies. Lambda Epsilon Chi was established in 1995 to honor the academic achievements of students in paralegal studies. Phi Theta Kappa was established in 1918 to honor the academic achievement of students in two-year colleges. To qualify for both societies, students must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or better for two consecutive academic quarters. (Photo provided)
