Sailer of West Milford received a bachelor of arts degree from Drew University on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at the university’s 142nd commencement. Ashley M. Hess of Hewitt received an associates in applied science degree in interior design from Berkeley College at the college’s commencement on April 30. Brianna Wright of Hewitt received an associates in applied science degree in fashion marketing and management from Berkeley College at the college’s commencement on April 30. Irene Cruz of Oak Ridge received a bachelor of science degree in human resources management from Berkeley College at the college’s commencement on April 30. Casey J. Miller from West Milford graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pace University in May. Elizabeth A. Stortz from West Milford graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pace University in May. Monika Kurkowski from the Oak Ridge section of West Milford graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Pace University. Megan Denliker, a 2009 graduate of West Milford High School, was named to the Ramapo College dean’s list for the spring 2010 semester. Denliker is a nursing student. In order to achieve dean’s list status, students must received a 3.5 grade point average or better. Carlton Baker and Melissa Muthusammy of West Milford were named to the Essex County College dean’s list for the spring semester. In order to be included on the list, students must achieve a 3.5 or higher grade point average. Rachel Ricciardi of West Milford has been named to the spring 2010 dean’s list at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher are placed on the dean’s list that semester Kelly Walsh of West Milford has been honored for academic achievement by being named to the spring 2010 dean’s list at Delaware Valley College, a four-year institution of higher education located in Doylestown, Pa. New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) recently named the following West Milford area students to the dean’s list for the spring semester, 2010: Frank Troia, Ryan Johnston, Chris Borie and Tyler Abrams of Hewitt; John Vroegindewey of Newfoundland; Christopher Hatke and David Hatke of Green Pond; Richard Clark, Bryan Pilewski, Jonathan Cosma, Nicholas Perrusio, and John Homan of West Milford. Margaret Mohrenweiser of West Milford, a Navy cadet majoring in electrical engineering, was named to the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Commandant’s List. In order to make the list, cadets must earn a 3.0 or greater grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) during the previous semester. Carolyn Soehngen of West Milford was named to honor’s list at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus for the spring 2010 semester. To qualify for the honor’s list, a student must carry a 3.5 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours. John Roche, son of David and Sally Roche of West Milford, was named to the Northwestern State University spring semester dean’s list, carrying a 3.84 grade point average. John is a music education major with a minor in piano. He is a 2008 graduate of Pope John XXIII High School. To be named to the deans list, a grade point average of 3.5 or higher is required and a student must carry a minimum amount of four credit hours. Lorraine Donnelly of West Milford and Heather Dugdale of Oak Ridge were named to dean’s list this spring at Caldwell College. In order to achieve this honor, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and complete at least 12 credits during the semester.
