Sussex County Berkeley College has awarded Merit Scholarships to three high school students from Sussex County to attend the Garret Mountain Campus. “It is an honor to recognize the academic accomplishments of high school seniors by awarding scholarships to attend Berkeley College,” said Berkeley College President Dr. Mildred García. “As a college that values diversity, fosters academic growth and recognizes the potential of each student, Berkeley College looks forward to welcoming the scholarship recipients to our campuses in the coming year.” The following students from Sussex County have received Merit Scholarships to attend the College: Michelle Camisa of Sparta, Sparta High School; Dayna Kapetanakis of Hamburg, Vernon Township High School; and Latoya Stevenson of Vernon, Vernon Township High School. Berkeley College currently maintains an enrollment of 5,500 students, including 500 international students, in its baccalaureate and associate degree programs.
