Sparta - Lance Cpl. Michael C. Collver, son of Charles and Barbara Collver, of Sparta, has been deployed to Camp Taqaddam, Iraq, with the U.S. Marine Corps. Collver is a 1997 graduate of Sparta High School. His wife, Stephanie (Holden) and daughter, Sara, reside in Franklin. He graduated from Marine Corps Boot Camp at Parris Island, S.C., on Oct. 23, 2003, and completed his infantry training at Camp Lejeune, N.C.
