Sparta graduate participates in Chancel Drama SELINSGROVE, Pa - Larry Fisher of Sparta was a musician in Susquehanna University’s Chancel Drama production of The Apple Tree. . Composed of three separate acts, The Apple Tree is a musical that tells three different stories: Mark Twain’s “The Diary of Adam and Eve,” Frank R. Stockton’s “The Lady or the Tiger?” and Jules Feiffer’s “Passionella.” Susquehanna University’s Chancel Drama is a student organization that promotes the word of God through theatre. It presents an annual production at the beginning of each spring semester. The musical was presented from Thursday, Jan. 18 to Saturday, Jan. 20 in Susquehanna’s Weber Chapel Auditorium. Chancel Drama’s past productions include Children’s Letters to God, In the Beginning, Smoke on the Mountain, Children of Eden, Jesus Christ Superstar and Godspell. Fisher, a senior music education major, is a 2003 graduate of Sparta High School and the son of Larry and Nancy Fisher.
