The Rev. Robert F. Solon Jr. officially began as Vicar of St. Thomas’ Episcopal church on Sunday, March 9, and is moving from his prior posting in Bayonne. Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, he earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and political science in Ohio and an MBA in Indiana, attended seminary in New York and was ordained in February 2007. St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church is located on Route 94, across from Highlands Bank. Sunday morning services are at 8 and 10 with free childcare provided by a licensed teacher for children ages 5 and under.
