Andrew R. Anderson, beloved husband of Dorothy, nee Borgstede, died on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012.
Born in Staten Island, N.Y., the son of Andrew and Clara (Rhode) Anderson, he has been a resident of Newfoundland since 1966.
A Navy veteran, Mr. Anderson was a photo engraver for Alco Gravure Company, Hoboken, before retiring. He was a member of International Friendship of West Milford.
Along with his wife, he is survived by a son Drew H. Anderson and his wife Patricia, a daughter Doran L. Neuwirth and her husband Philip and four grandchildren, Kourtney and Jillian Anderson and Kevin and Kyle Neuwirth.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Aug. 19, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, N.Y.
