Anne M. Vogel of West Milford passed away May 1, 2017. She was 89.
Wife of the late Edward F. Vogel for 52 years and daughter of the late Frank and Amelia Molly (Formisano) Hoff, she was a West Milford resident for 70 years, coming from Jersey City.
Anne had been employed as a translator at the Latin American Institute, a bail bondsman, a local real estate agent and was also a homemaker.
Her clubs included the West Milford Women’s Club, the West Milford Garden Club and the Republican Club. Anne was a past president of Joseph Toomey Council Columbiettes, a parishioner at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church for over 50 years, CCD teacher, breast cancer survivor and staunch supporter of Collin’s Pavilion and the ASPCA. She was an avid tennis player and golfer and a great fan of the Green Bay Packers.
Anne was known as a loving wife and a great and fiercely loyal friend.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Robi Vogel, and grandpuppies Harry and Molly.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 4, at Richards Funeral Home, West Milford. The funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 5, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Hewitt. Interment followed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
