Caroline Szymansky of West Milford passed away on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013 in Milford Manor Nursing Home. She was 79.
She was born and raised in Paterson, to Mary (nee Matro) and Joseph C. Szymansky.
Caroline has been a resident of West Milford since the late 1960s, and a parishioner of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in West Milford. She was employed as a clerk for many years at Facile Holdings in Paterson.
Caroline will best be remembered for her love of animals.
Caroline was predeceased by her brothers, George Szymansky and Roman Szymansky, in 1980 and her nephew, George Szymansky, Jr.
She is survived by her nieces JoAnne Szymansky, Karen Dressler, and Linda Aiello, her nephews Roman Szymansky, Jr, and Joseph and Thomas Szymansky.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 LaRue Road, Newfoundland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 454 Germantown Road, West Milford. The interment will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, adjacent to the church.
