Charles P. Aunicky

Charles P. Aunicky of West Milford, died on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014. He was 75 and lived in High Crest Lake, West Milford for 30 years.

He served in the Army National Guard from 1961 to 1966. Charlie worked for V.D. Electric in Ridgefield Park, Bell Electric in Little Falls, Falls Hardware in Little Falls, and he retired in 2004 from Fairmont Coal and Lumber in Hackensack. Charlie volunteered at the Chilton Memorial Hospital for 30 years, and at the Preakness Reformed Church in Wayne. He was especially proud to be a part of the R.I.S.E. project, organized through the Reformed Church, performing construction repairs on the homes of families in need.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife Marianne, his sister, Patricia Frazier and her husband Donald of Ringwood, his sister-in-law, Lillian Cocce of Ponds Inlet, Florida, a nephew, Donald Frazier and his wife Barbara of Lincoln Park, and one niece, Teresa Neary and her husband Thomas of Big Pine Key, Florida, and extended loving family.
