| 30 Nov 2020 | 09:31

Christian “Fred” Hancock Sr. of West Milford, NJ., died on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020, in Morristown Memorial Hospital due to complications following a major surgery. He was 70 years of age.

He was born on June 9, 1950, in Paterson N.J.

He graduated from Kinnelon High School in 1968.

On Oct. 3, 1982 he married his loving wife and high school sweetheart Terri A. Mansfield.

Christian was a natural born business and salesman who found his passion and calling in the organic textile industry in which he owned and operated his own business “Specialty Fabrics” for the last 30 plus years.

He also worked with his son Jamie in the “Theatrical Teamsters union Local 817” in which he was a prided on-call helper.

He never took life too seriously and always found a joke in every situation. Anyone who knew Christian knew his sense of humor is what defined him and could always count on him to make them laugh and make light of any situation.

Christian is survived by his loving wife Terri A. Hancock; his four children: his daughter Amy E. Antonucci and her fiancé Dean Monti, his three sons: Christian Hancock Jr. and his girlfriend Dawn M., Corey, R. Ceccacci and his wife Heather, and Jamie A. Ceccacci; his grandchildren: Madelyn Antonucci, Andrea Bailey and soon to be grandson “baby Monti;” his brother Knute Hancock and his wife Shirley, his brother-in-law James Mansfield and his wife Suzie; and his nieces: Sandy Spinelli, Sonya Sedlack and Kate and Stacy Mansfield.

The family received visitors on Nov. 17 at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 La Rue Road, Newfoundland.

Final disposition will be private.
