David B. Banta died on Saturday, April 14, 2012. He was 67.
Born in Paterson, the son of Joseph and Miriam (ODell) Banta, he was a lifelong resident of West Milford.
Mr. Banta was a self-employed construction worker.
Surviving are his children David John, Christopher, and Stacia Banta, brothers Ronald and Michael Banta, a grandson, Ralph Shuman and his companion, Frances Alala. His parents, brothers Donald and Gordon and a sister Marsha Flynn predeceased him.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford with a gathering of friends and family from 2 to 4 p.m.
