Dolores D. Birkhoff, nee Runhaar, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012. She was 77.
Born in the Netherlands the daughter of Jan and Maria Runhaar, Mrs. Birkhoff lived in Prospect Park before coming to West Milford 37 years ago. Before retiring she had been a waitress at Vincent Hilltop Villa, Clifton.
Mrs. Birkhoff was the widow of John J. birkhoff, Sr. who predeceased her in 1998.
Surviving are her son, John T. Birkhoff and his wife Jill of West Milford, her daughter, Monique Birkhoff-Deway and her husband Douwe of Tobyhanna, Pa., three brothers George Runhaar and his wife Gerda, Jack Runhaar and his wife Fanny of the Netherlands and John Runhaar and his wife Nancy of Florida. Also surviving is her grandson Mason J. Birkhoff.
Private services were conducted by the Richards Funeral Home, West Milford.
