Dorothy C. Gallagher Dorothy nee Smallwood, 78, beloved wife of John, died on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012. She was 78.
A resident of West Milford for 51 years, she was born in Paterson, the daughter of Charles and Charlotte (Ramoth) Smallwood.
Mrs. Gallagher was a retired office administrator at T.R.W., Fairfield, and volunteered at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock, attended West Milford Presbyterian Church, was a member of West Milford Women's Club and Wallkill Golf Club.
Along with her husband, her children John Gallagher III of West Milford, Gregory Gallagher of Greenwood Lake, N.Y., Charlene Iannaci of Inverness, Fla., and Tracey Galluzzo of Hamburg and nine grandchildren survive her.
Visiting will be held at Richards Funeral Home, West Milford, on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 14, at West Milford Presbyterian Church, West Milford. Final disposition will be private.
