Dorothy J. Nuesch, nee Seitz, beloved wife of 62 years to August "Gus" Nuesch, died on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. She was 80.
Born in , the daughter of Jacob and Dorothea (Mayer) Seitz, she lived in Guttenberg coming to West Milford 16 years ago. Mrs. Nuesch had been a bookkeeper for All American Sports Shop, West New York, a den mother with Cub Scout Pack # 26 in Guttenberg and worked for the Guttenberg Recreation Department.
Along with her husband, surviving are a son Lawrence "Larry" of Pa., a daughter Linda Hoffman of Warwick, N.Y., four grandchildren, Steven and Kip Nuesch, Stacy Mitchell and Jennifer Hoffman and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place on Friday, March 16, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford. A funeral service will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, from the funeral home will be on Saturday, March 17, at 10 a.m.
