Eileen L. (Kesar) Trahan, 74, of West Milford passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 19. Beloved wife of John Trahan and the daughter of Charles and Katherine Kesar. Born in Hoboken, she has been a resident of West Milford for the past 50 years and employed as an office manager for Uddeholm Steel in Totowa, NJ. Eileen was a dedicated mother and wife. She loved animals and adopted many of the family pets from the West Milford Animal Shelter. In addition to working full time, Eileen offered her time to be her son’s Cub Scout Den Leader and she also was the President of the West Milford Highlanders’ Football Booster Club in 1982. Surviving in addition to her husband, John, are three sons, John of West Milford, Matt of Richmond VA, Mark of Bergenfield, NJ and one granddaughter Morgan Trahan. Visitation hours were held on Sunday, and a funeral mass took place on Monday at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. Interment followed at St. Joseph’s Church Cemetery, West Milford.
