Elizabeth A. Mitchell of West Milford died on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013. She was 84.
Born and raised in Paterson, Mrs. Mitchell lived in Hawthorne for 40 years before moving to West Milford. She was a receptionist for Dr. Rudolph Favocci for 25 years. Prior to that, she was a beautician. Mrs. Mitchell was a former parishioner of St. Anthony’s R.C. Church, Hawthorne. She was a member of the West Milford Red Hatters, the Elks Lodge No. 2181 Women’s Auxiliary, and the Hawthorne Muchachos Auxiliary. She was also a former Cub Scout leader.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her husband, Peter; her daughter, Deborah Cliff of Hawthorne; her son, Peter of Hopatcong; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne, followed by Mass at St. Anthony’s R.C. Church.
