Gerald A. Shirhall

    Gerald A. Shirhall, of Hewitt, died on Sunday, Nov. 12. He was 62.
    Born in Teaneck, Shirhall was the son of the late Anthony and Henrietta (McConville) Shirhall and a resident of Hewitt for the past 39 years moving here from Haskell.
    He was employed as a mass attendant for Estee Lauder, Aramis Division, in Oakland. He served the Upper Greenwood Lake Volunteer Ambulance Corp as a captain, and a former coach for the West Milford Little League and West Milford PAL Basketball and Soccer teams.
    Surviving are his wife, Pansy (Van Dunk) Shirhall; two sons, Robert M. of Vernon and William L. of Chalfont, PA; a brother, Steve of Garfield; two sisters, Nancy Bickner of North Carolina, Karen Shirhall of Pennsylvania; and three grandchildren, Gavin, Mason and Mia Shirhall.
    He was predeceased by a brother, Peter, earlier this year.
    Friends may call at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford, from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15. Funeral services are set for 6:30 p.m.
    Disposition will be private.
