Grace A. Robinson

    Grace A. Robinson of Vernon passed away peacefully at Compassionate Care Hospice on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014. She was 75.

    Grace was born on Feb. 22, 1938 in Paterson, to Grace (nee Dowd) and Leonard Staub. She married Carlton Eugene Robinson in 1956 and together they raised their family in Oak Ridge. She was employed for many years as a grinding inspector at National Beryllia Corp. in Haskell before her retirement.

    Grace has resided in Vernon for the last 14 years.

    Grace will best be remembered for her love of reading and her dry sense of humor.

    She was predeceased by her husband Carlton in 1983.

    Grace is survived by her children, Michael Robinson and his wife Nancy, Gene Robinson and his wife Dawn, and Douglas Robinson and his wife Beverly; her seven grandchildren, Heather, Adam, Stacey, Douglas Jr., Kelly, Sean, and Jessica; her four great-grandchildren, Christian, Jeremiah, Jase, and Samuel, as well as her brother Leonard Staub and her sister Kathy Messina.

    Visiting and the funeral service was held at Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home. Following the funeral service, she was interred in Oak Ridge Presbyterian Cemetery, Oak Ridge.
