Harry C. Fitzpatrick, beloved husband of Shirley, nee Whritenour died on Monday, Sept. 23, 2013 at home. He was 79.
A 61-year resident of Newfoundland, Harry was born in Butler, the son of Harry C. and Beatrice C. (Smith) Fitzpatrick. He was proprietor of Harry C. Fitzpatrick, Jr. Water Pump Service, Newfoundland.
Along with his wife, Shirley, of 61 years, he is survived by his daughters Jeanne M. Dayon, Eileen B. Dayon, Helen M. Fitzpatrick and Shirley A. Van Dyke all of West Milford, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, a granddaughter, Amy Leigh Dayon in 2003, sons-in-law Thomas Craig Dayon in 2006 and Frank Robert Dayon in 2008.
Visiting will be at Richards Funeral Home on Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral service is on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 10 a.m. at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford. Interment will follow in Cedar Heights Cemetery, West Milford.
